हामी हरेकको केहिनकेहि सपना हुन्छ। तेहि सपना पुरा गर्न हामी एक चित्त भएर लागि परिरहेका हुन्छौ। कसैले आफ्नो सपनाको सफलता छिटै नै प्राप्त गर्छन भने कहिलाई धेरै समय लाग्छ। सफल हुनेको चारै तिर चर्चा हुन्छ भने सफलता प्राप्त गर्न नसकिरहेकाहरुको कुनै थाहा पत्तो हुदैन र यो स्वभाभिक हो। हामी जुनसुकै क्षेत्रमा हेरौऊ आखिर चर्चा त सफल भएकाहरुको नै हुने गरेको पाहिन्छ। 

हरेक व्यक्ति सफल हुन चाहन्छ तर केहि गिन्ती व्यक्ति मात्र सफल हुन्छ। सफल व्यक्ति पनि हामी जस्तै साधारण व्यक्ति हुन् यति भन्दा-भन्दै म मा केहि प्रश्नहरुले सधै औला उठाउने गर्छ आखिर "के कारणले सामान्य मानिसलाई सफल बनाउछ ?" हुन पनि हो संसारमा कयौ मानिसहरुछन् तर "किन सबै सफल हुन सक्दैन्न ?" यति मात्र होइन "आखिर सफलता के कुरालाई मान्ने ?" यसरी सोच्दै जाने हो भने यावत प्रश्नहरुने मेरो मात्र होइन हामी सबैको दिमाख खाने गर्छ। 

म यो सब लेख्दाको दिन सम्म पनि मलाई लाग्दैन म सफल छु भनेर। म अहिले पढि रहेको छु किन भने मलाई सफल बन्नु छ, आफ्नो सपना पुरा गर्नुछ, केहि गर्नु छु जसले गर्दा समाजमा मेरो नाम होस् इज्जत होस्,राम्रो पहिचान होस्, मेरो मात्र नभई मेरो परिवारको सुन्दर भबिस्यहोस्। त्यसकै लागि भनेर म दिनरात मेहेनत गर्दैछु। 

म आझै पनि बिस्वस्त छैन मैले सफलता प्राप्त गर्न सक्छु भन्नेमा किनभने मलाई थाहा छ समय आफुले सोचे जस्तो नआउन सक्छ र आफ्नो सपनालाई कतै बिसाएर आफुले हिड्दै गरेको बाटो नै परिवर्तन गर्नु पर्ने हुनसक्छ। आज सम्म त म आफ्नो सफलता पाउने बाटोमा हिनिरहेको छु र मलाई विश्वास छ कुनै दिन सफल हुने छु र म भित्र उब्जेका केहि प्रश्नहरुको उत्तर सरल रुपमा दिन सक्ने छु।

नोट: मेरो नितान्त व्यक्तिगत सोच तर आफ्नो बिचर राख्न नभुल्नु होला।      

आज बाट फिफा कन्फेडेरेसन कप २०१७ सुरु हुदै छ। फिफाले यो टुर्नामेन्ट १९९२ देखि हरेक चार वर्षको अन्तरमा आयोजना गर्दै आएको छ। ६ महादेशका च्याम्पियन टोलीसँगै विश्वकप विजेता र आयोजक टोलीको सहभागिता रहने यस प्रतियोगितामा कुल १६ खेल खेलिनेछ। 

सहभागी ८ टोलीलाई २ समूहमा बिभाजन गरेर लिग कम नकआउट फर्म्याटमा प्रतियोगिता संचालन हुनेछ। प्रतियोगिताको समूह ‘ए’मा आयोजक रसियासँगै मेक्सिको, पोर्चुगल र न्युजिल्याण्ड रहेका छन् भने समूह ‘बी’मा जर्मनी, चिली, क्यामरुन र अष्ट्रेलिया छन्।

शनिबार हुने उद्घाटन खेलमा आयोजक रसियाले न्युजिल्याण्डको सामना गर्दैछ। समूहका शीर्ष २ स्थानमा रहने टोलीले सेमिफाइनलमा स्थान बनाउनेछन्। प्रतियोगितामा तेश्रो स्थानको खेल पनि हुनेछ।

यस प्रतियोगितालाई विश्वकपको वार्म अप प्रतियोगिताको रुपमा हेरिंदै आएको छ। रसियाले सन् २०१८ मा फिफा विश्वकप आयोजना गर्दैछ।

Happiness is the mental and emotional state having positive emotions including joy, pride, satisfaction and respect. Happiness also refer to anything that can bring a smile to someone's face. It is not measurable, profitable nor tradable. People want to have happiness, and want to know they have lot of it. But happiness, like air or water, it is hard thing to garb in one's hand. It is intangible. 

Happiness in not measured by any instrument. The things that such as having new bike or phone, a big house or gift does not equate to joyful feeling. They are only status, symbols that make others assume a person is happy, but they do not guarantee a happy life. The phrase, "money can't buy happiness," heard often because it is true. People who are rich in wealth can be unhappy, likewise poor can be living a happy life. 

So happiness can't be achieved by things but there is other factor that lead to the 'Happiness'. People need to have a sense of purpose. The person who is having a sense of purpose in their life often have a feeling of satisfaction about them. They sense they were put on this planet for a reason. To each person the purpose can be different. Maybe they were meant to teach. Maybe they were meant to create. Maybe they were meant to learn. And goals can be small things, like taking a extra moment each day to breadth. But having progress in life, a feeling of forward, can make people feel happy. 

But taking that progress too far can be a bad thing. Success at the expense of everything else leads to the opposite of happiness. Life required balance. And people that understand there is a balance between work and play, happy and sad, are more close to the universe and therefore, better able to achieve happiness. Life with a sense of humor is more pleasant. Comedians, compared to any other profession, live the longest because they understand that laughter adds the spice to life and makes daily progress worth. 

So people can be happy if they have something to make great efforts to achieve and something to laugh about. After all, the conclusion to happiness is the decision to actually be happy. Human nature can see negative energy anywhere. People can give a problems instead of solutions. So at the end of the day, "happiness depends upon ourselves."(Aristotle). As Lincoln said,"Most people are as happy as they make up their minds to to be." 

Being happy with who you are and what you have, is a decision that has to be made. Goals and success can help lead to happiness. Finding laughter in life is important. But at the end of the day, a person needs to make a choice about happiness. They need to agree they want it, deserve it and have it. 

It has been nearly nine months being at Chandigarh University as a student of Engineering. Living here is exciting and wonderful. In the starting days at Chandigarh University, I must say I was confused as I was new to the society. But as time passed now I feel comfortable and happy being here. Sometimes I remember those days when I was not even planning to come to India (i.e here) but certainly time changes and now, I need to be here. I think that was one of the most important decision I have taken in my life and now, I must make this decision 'The Best'. I had to travel nearly 1600 km which took around 36 hours to be here. The main motive was just for bright future and good education. 

After being here I was inspired by many things. My University is located in the cool place where nothing disturbs. The greenery view of the land gives inspiration to everyone. The helpful nature of the people around here made the place more beautiful. After, being here I made many friends who are really helpful and close to me. They are ready to help me in need which made me happy. That made me more comfortable to be here. My course duration is 4 year and now, almost a year passed and I even don't know how fast time is passing. 

I live in University Hostel but it is outside the University gate. The hospitality provided by the University is satisfactory. The food served in the hostel is similar to my country so I didn't feel any difficulty to take it. In our hostel, we have got small ground where we play football using vapour light at evening. Gym facility is also provided with the trainer but I must say I'm not interested in it. There is TV room which gets houseful in almost every interesting cricket and football matches. The security is good here but sometimes I get angry because I have been here for a long time although they don't recognise me and always ask me 'where are you from ?'. As usual, this place is hot at summer having the maximum temperature 45 degree Celsius and cold at winter with minimum temperature 2 degrees. I had felt both types of climate and now I am familiar with it. 

Firstly, I applied for Computer Science Engineering (CSE course) as I want to be a Computer Engineer. So, I joined the University. After dealing few days at CSE classes I got an opportunity to attend the seminar delivered by IBM India Office representative. From them, I get to know about the Hons courses they were providing at Chandigarh University in collaboration. I go through the details about their specification and I found Information Security, Big data Analytics and Cloud Computing were the major. I thought 'Having some idea about it was not only what I want?' I need to join it. But many queries arise in my mind at that time, like 'Do it have any scope in my country?', 'There is already computer engineering course why do I need it?' and much more. I began surfing the internet and start to clear my dough. Finally, I came to a conclusion to join Information Security. 

The UIMS (University Information Management System) system of My University really inspired me. First time I saw those type of technology. It helps to make the good interaction between University management and student. Through the use of UIMS student can view their attendance, assignment, notice, result, fee details, uploaded study materials, etc. So, it is very helpful and time-saving to the student. I'm also planning to provide such facilities in my country when I go back.

At Chandigarh University during New Year Program 2073 B.S.

The feeling of the root from where one belong is always deeply seeded into his/her heart. So, no matter how far one goes he/she will always take his cultures, traditions, norms & values along with them. The Nepalese Student of Chandigarh University in collaboration with University International department came up with a heart leaping event, the celebration of New year 2073 on April 15, 2016. Everything and every effort made was just as fresh as a 1st day of the year. Seeing the eyes full of expectation of joyful and successful year, everyone present in the event were overwhelmed with joy. The event started with a lunch program in which various traditional dishes, dalbhat, selroti, bara and many more was served. The meal was delicious enough to make one desire for more and more.      
     The cultural program was of no exception, all Nepalese students were dressed in traditional Nepali, attire. Culturally vibrant dresses made the event more attractive. The cultural dance and songs performed must have touched the heart of everyone present there. The documentary made by Ncell Nepal featuring the beauty of the land of Himalayas, Nepal was really amazing. The center of attraction for the program was the "Happy International Video" launched. The video was an outcome of effort made by Mr. Rajesh Chaudhary along with his crew. The true definition of "Happy" was well described through the video. The chief guest Mr. BS Sohi, Pro Vice Chancellor, Chandigarh University, expressed his happiness too. He appreciated and gave blessings to all students present there. The program was of great success and has marked a absurdity of being remembered for long and long.
